So, on Friday a package from Floyd Engels, the master fabricator/restorer of RCA era theremins, arrived in the mail. My birthday is Sunday, so the timing is perfect. I received a binder with about 30 pages of notes, drawings, instructions and plans, a few miscellaneous parts, and some speaker cloth.
Floyd has in essence passed the speaker construction torch onto me. He’s more or less done with theremin/speaker/cello work. I’m going to construct one speaker for now, but I probably won’t get started right away, as I have a few things to finish up with my theremin and other projects, but soon… watch this space.
