We listened to more 78s as we tested tubes.
Lots of stuff to read and talk about.
I got to check some more details so I can improve my cabinet work.
And we tested the voltages and resistances of the tubes and power supply. The power supply looks pretty good (and I’ve got a similar spare) but the pitch circuit is pretty bad. It’s oscillating and actually giving a 5 octave range, but it’s pretty quiet. We think we tracked down one or two possible sources and things to improve/fix in my theremin.
We also talked about design and looked at portfolios.
