{"id":764,"date":"2009-08-30T09:05:08","date_gmt":"2009-08-30T17:05:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mikebuffington.net\/?p=764"},"modified":"2009-08-30T12:57:54","modified_gmt":"2009-08-30T20:57:54","slug":"hands-off-2009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.mikebuffington.net\/02\/?p=764","title":{"rendered":"Hands Off 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mikebuffington.net\/photos\/HandsOff02.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<!--more Two Day group album recording event-->On the 28th and 29th, 12 musicians and thereminists got together in Croxley Green to record an album.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mikebuffington.net\/photos\/HandsOff03.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nWolfgang is very good precision thereminist!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mikebuffington.net\/photos\/HandsOff04.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nThere were many nice analogue synths, toys, and I think I counted 12 theremins in total.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mikebuffington.net\/photos\/HandsOff05.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nThis sweet soviet synth sounded great and weird, even though it felt odd with the cheap plastic keys.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mikebuffington.net\/photos\/HandsOff06.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nIt was guerrilla style recording, with so many different types of setups.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mikebuffington.net\/photos\/HandsOff07.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mikebuffington.net\/photos\/HandsOff08.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nWe split off into different rooms in groups to record songs.
