It was an incredible experience to walk through and become engulfed by the most beautifully tactile concrete slabs I&#8217;ve ever touched.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mikebuffington.net\/photos\/europe\/berlin_vermeer.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nWent to the Gem\u00e4ldegalerie, where I saw two Vermeers. 5 out of 36 at this point.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mikebuffington.net\/photos\/europe\/berlin_religious.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nThis painting just spoke to me. This guy&#8217;s head is no larger than 2 inches tall yet the detail and realism was so superb.
